The message / log window disappeared

Open Settings and toggle “Pin Log Window” to bring the message panel back. It’s the most common “something’s missing” report.

Opening chests or using the Cube is really slow

This is almost always server load during peak player hours, not your PC. Hold off on high-value chest opens and Cube actions until it settles — avoid big Steam Market transactions during an outage.

Auto-retry keeps sending me back to an earlier stage

Accepted Answer

That’s by design: when Auto-retry can’t clear the current stage it steps back to one you can, and keeps farming there. Use the Portal to return once you’re stronger, or turn Auto-retry off (bottom-right toggle) to stay put.

I bought an item on the Steam Market but it’s not in my inventory

Accepted Answer

Claim it from the in-game mailbox (mail icon, top-right); it has about a 10-second refresh. Note that items bought on the Market are locked from re-trading for 7 days by Steam policy.

Question 5

I can’t list a piece of gear on the Steam Market

Accepted Answer

Remove every socketed material first (decoration / engraving / inscription) — gear can’t be listed while sockets are filled. Listing also needs Steam Guard, and only Immortal-rarity and above hold real resale value.
